Recently, two recycled carbon fiber material products and two finished products made from recycled carbon fiber, independently developed and produced by HRC, a global leading composite solution provider, have obtained the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) 4.0 certification. This once again demonstrates HRC's firm determination to continuously build and improve the self-recycling system of the entire industrial chain and adhere to the path of green carbon neutrality.

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification is an international, voluntary, and comprehensive product standard with strict requirements for recycled materials, supply chains, manufacturing, social and environmental aspects, and chemical restrictions. The goal of GRS is to increase the use of recycled materials in products and reduce or eliminate the harm caused by their production. As an internationally recognized standard, the GRS certification is highly regarded worldwide. Especially with the release of new EU regulations on the use of recycled materials in automobiles, global automakers such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, and Volkswagen are also vigorously promoting relevant cooperation projects. The four products of HRC that have obtained the certification this time are recycled short carbon fibers, recycled carbon fiber composite felts, recycled carbon fiber scattered-assembled formworks, and recycled carbon fiber building formworks. There is no additional chemical addition during the manufacturing process, and they are green, low-carbon, and low-energy-consuming, fully meeting the GRS certification standards. The two recycled carbon-fiber materials both adopt advanced recycling technologies. The performance retention rate of the 100% recycled carbon fibers obtained is greater than 90%, and they have excellent mechanical properties. They have now been applied in the construction engineering industry and have received unanimous praise. Their unique material advantages and green attributes also have broad application prospects in fields such as automotive manufacturing, rail transit, and aerospace.

The recyclable carbon fiber building formwork system has advantages such as light weight, high strength, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, and non-deformability. In recent years, with the continuous awakening of public environmental awareness, how to establish a sustainable and recyclable development model has become an important proposition for corporate strategic layout. As the first composite material enterprise in China to open up the carbon fiber application loop and one of the first to obtain the GRS certification, since its establishment, HRC has actively promoted the research, development, and promotion of carbon neutrality products such as natural fibers, recyclable fibers, hydrogen tanks, and thermoplastics, and has deeply explored the application prospects of more future green composite materials.
